ICS Triplex has recently been awarded a multi system contract for Total Fina Elf and Exmar. The complete project comprises Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) and wellhead platform.

Trusted TMR technology has been selected for both the platform and FPSO safety systems. A separate system installed on each will perform both ESD protection of the process and fire &gas detection across each facility. Total I/O count is at least 1600 for the 2 systems. A third system based on addressable technology will also be provided for the accommodation section of the FPSO.

This contract further increases our already large installed base in recent FPSO and drill ship projects.

As with previous projects the Trusted systems will be Bureau Veritas certified to meet the requirements of the shipping regulations.
